The Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite 5G released in May this year and it came with Android 10 alongside MIUI 11. The device is also known as the Mi 10 Youth Edition 5G. Being part of the company’s flagship Mi 10 series, it was but obvious that it will get the MIUI 12 skin.
Last month, Xiaomi released the MIUI 12 update for the Mi 10 in China. Further, the Mi 10 Lite in the country also began receiving the new skin.
All this while, there was not much information shared for the European variants of the Mi 10 and Mi 10 Lite 5G. Well, the wait for the update is now ended since the Mi 10 Lite 5G has bagged the stable MIUI 12 update in Europe.
This new update comes as version V12.0.1.0.QJIEUXM and it is being seeded via an OTA package. The MIUI release brings a host of new features and improvements to the device and is based on Android 10.
Here’s the complete changelog for the latest MIUI 12 release in Europe:
As you can see, the changelog is massive. Of course, this is to be expected since Xiaomi has one of the heaviest and most feature-packed skins over Android.
The OTA update notification should be arriving at any moment on your device. However, if for some reason you wish to install the update manually, you can do so by downloading the package from below:

Further, the company has now confirmed that the second batch of devices from the Chinese roadmap will begin receiving the stable MIUI 12 update by the end of the month. Unfortunately, there’s no ETA for the European devices or Global ones for that matter.
Of course, we will continue tracking the rollout and will post an update if and when new developments arise. In the meantime, you can check out our MIUI 12 update tracker to know when it arrives on your device.
