New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….

Original story (published on August 11, 2020) follows:

The Xiaomi Mi Note 10 released back in 2019 and came with Android 9 Pie running alongside MIUI 11. Since then, the device has picked up the Android 10 update. Further, it has been in line to receive the MIUI 12 update which was first announced by Xiaomi in China.

FYI, the Mi Note 10 is sold as the Mi CC9 Pro in China, where the device has already bagged the MIUI 12 update. However, Mi Note 10 users outside of China are still waiting for the stable MIUI 12 update to begin rolling out on their devices.

Well, it seems that the wait for the MIUI 12 update is finally over. At least for users with the Global variant of the Mi Note 10. This is because Xiaomi seems to have begun rolling out the update via OTA to users.

The new update comes as version 12.0.1.0.QFDMIXM that has been bumped up from 11.1.3.0.QFDMIXM. The OTA size for the MIUI 12 update on the Global Mi Note 10 units is 840MB. In case you aren’t willing to wait to receive the OTA package, you can manually download the update via the link below:
