Original story (published on July 18, 2022) follows:
Ever since its release in 1997, Microsoft Outlook has become an integral part of various organizations. If you are unaware, the personal information manager is a part of the Microsoft Office Suite.
Initially designed as an email client, the developers have added several features like calendar management, task managing, note taking, journal logging, and even web browsing.
But in the last few days, several Microsoft Outlook users are reporting that the app is crashing on iOS 15.5 after updating to v4.2227.1. It is crashing right after users click on the icon with no error message (1,2,3,4,5).
Many are frustrated since the problem is preventing them from checking their email and negatively affecting their overall productivity.
Fortunately, Microsoft Outlook developers have commented on the iOS 15.5 crashing issue and said they are working on a fix.
Let us hope they soon find out what’s wrong and release an update that fixes the crashing issue at the earliest. Until then, we will be keeping tabs on the matter and let you know when the problem is resolved so stay tuned.
