Mimecast is a British company specialized in cybersecurity services. The company also handles email management based on Microsoft Office 365.

Various companies rely on the company to enhance the security and robustness of their platforms. The company’s services are especially popular in the segment of online business.

That said, currently Mimecast platform and services are down or not working, which directly impacts the platforms of all its clients.

Mimecast platform down or not working

According to multiple reports, Mimecast users are currently unable to access its services. This negatively impacts all platforms that depend on the management of the company.

Since Mimecast also handles third-party corporate email management, platforms that rely on its services are facing significant delays in receiving their emails.

Mimecast users need their Mimecast ID in order to complete a bug report, but they can’t access it when the platform is down. So, some users request the company to remove the ID requirement to report issues.

The support team is already aware

The support team is already aware of the issue and is working on resolving it. For now, the company urges users to keep an eye on the status page.

There are no details on an ETA to get everything back to normal. We will update this story once new details emerge on the matter.

Update 1 (May 4)
