New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….

Original story (published on October 05, 2021) follows:

Minecraft is one of the most well-known sandbox video games in the world, similar to the likes of Terraria. Developed by Mojang Studios, the game was released in 2011.

It is written in Java and is available on a plethora of platforms. In the last few years, Minecraft has gained massive popularity with more than 140 million active monthly users in 2021.

The world of Minecraft is infinite with an endless amount of available resources. Players can do whatever they want, from fighting the environment to building whatever they imagine.

People have recreated some real-life buildings and monuments in the game, with some worlds containing libraries that let others access information without any restrictions.

In Minecraft, you can either create your own realm from scratch or join your friends to do some activities in their world.

The game was bought by Microsoft in 2014 for $2.5 billion. Having said that, Minecraft players do face some glitches every once in a while because of the online nature of the game.

A few months ago, Minecraft players reported that they were getting ‘A JNI error has occurred, please check your installation and try again’ or ‘Java exception’ after the much-awaited 1.17 update.

Unfortunately, some recent reports from Minecraft players suggest that they are unable to connect or join their friend’s world.

Players said they have tried restarting the game but it isn’t helping either. As it turns out, Mojang Studios seems to be aware of the situation and said it is a known issue.

The developers also said that they are working on a fix but did not share any ETA about the same.

We hope the bug where Minecraft players cannot join their friend’s world is fixed soon since socializing and playing with friends is a core aspect of the gameplay.

When Mojang fixes the issue, we will update this space so make sure to keep an eye out for further updates.

Update 1 (October 08, 2021)
