Mineplex and Hypixel players are facing some odd issues for the past couple of days wherein both of the Minecraft minigame servers are down and not working at all.
As a result, several players have taken to social media to complain about the said issues. We have listed some of them below.
As it stands, the server issues are due to ongoing large-scale DDoS attacks on the Minecraft server. Hypixel is thus working on many network improvements to lessen the impact of the attacks.
However, while these improvements are being made, the Hypixel Network has been taken down for emergency maintenance. Hypixel says that the process may last for at least 24 hours.
But there still are chances of the downtime being extended. When that happens, further details will be provided on this news post.
As for Mineplex, well, they say that they’re working on resolving the issues as well with their server provider and hope to have the servers back up as soon as possible.
