Xiaomi had previously announced that they would be releasing the first instances of MIUI 12.5 stable starting with their flagship devices in Q2 2021. True to their word, the Mi 10 Ultra became the first device to bag the update in late March.
This initial announcement was pretty vague and provided an incomplete list of eligible devices. The devices were grouped into 2 batches – high-end phones set to run MIUI 12.5 stable sometime in early Q2 while the remainder in late Q2.
This was followed by another more specific update timeline promising stable MIUI 12.5 update by late April for some devices combined with another batch set to bag the same starting late May.
But Xiaomi is known to test all of their releases thoroughly prior to a stable release. We have seen the OEM carry an extensive beta testing program following their MIUI 12.5 announcement late last year.
Such beta tests are followed by the stable beta testing phase prior to a final stable rollout. FYI, stable beta builds are basically release candidates that are rolled out to select regular users.
And now, as per an even newer list prepared on April 16, MIUI 12.5 update has hit the internal stable beta testing phase for most of the eligible Xiaomi, Redmi, and Poco devices.

It is currently unclear if these stable betas are following usual update patterns and are being rolled out to select regular users, or if they’re still limited to the beta testers.
Also worth emphasizing here that this list only pertains to the Chinese variants of all of the aforementioned devices. Global releases should come a month or so later.
