Xiaomi offers a lot of in-house apps, including the Gallery and Mi Music Player apps, with its custom skin i.e., MIUI. Also, the OEM has recently announced that MIUI 12 is officially available for 31 devices.

As per recent reports, Xiaomi might be suspending the development of MIUI 12 soon in order to prepare the MIUI 12.5 update.

The MIUI Gallery app update version 2.2.17.16 brings along PDF converter, OCR support to more devices, and other optimizations.
