Motorola India Country Head, Prashanth Mani, took to Twitter to confirm the  India launch for the Motorola Edge 20 Pro. The tweet from the company’s India Head was a response to a fan who wished for the device to arrive in the country as well. To which Mr Prashanth Mani says, “We will launch the edge 20 pro soon.”

However, the company’s chief did not reveal any specific timeline for the launch of the Motorola Edge 20 Pro. The price and the other additional details are yet to be revealed. The device is speculated to launch in India next month that is September and is likely to be priced above Rs 35,000.

To recollect, Motorola Edge 20 Pro debuted globally last month along with Edge 20 and Edge 20 Lite. Out of the three two were launched in India earlier this week. 

The Pro variant is priced at EUR 699.99 for the 12GB RAM with a 256GB storage model that translates to Rs 60,900 (approx). It comes in two colour options of Indigo Vegan Leather and Midnight Blue.

In terms of camera, there is a triple camera setup on the back of Edge 20 Pro housing a 108-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL HM2 sensor, a 16-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor and a macro lens, and an 8-megapixel sensor with a 5x high-res optical zoom and 50X Super Zoom telephoto lens.

The Motorola Edge 20 Pro is backed by a 4,500mAh battery that also supports 30W TurboPower fast charging. For connectivity, there is 5G, LTE, Wi-Fi 6, GPS, and Bluetooth, and others.
