Released in May this year, Motorola Edge 30 is the world’s thinnest 5G smartphone. Protected by Gorilla Glass 3 on the front, the phone features a 6.5-inch AMOLED screen and comes with Android 12 out of the box.
Offering up to 256GB of internal storage and 8GB of RAM, the phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ 5G.
Coming to the camera department, the Motorola Edge 30 has a triple camera setup with a 50 MP primary sensor, 50 MP ultrawide lens, and 2MP depth sensor. The front camera is a single 32 MP that can record 4K videos at 30fps.
And while Motorola is known for its smooth near-stock Android experience, bugs and glitches do negatively affect the overall user experience every once in a while.
Screen automatically waking up in pocket
That said, Motorola Edge 30 users are now facing an issue where the screen automatically wakes up when the phone is in the pocket.
Common troubleshooting solutions like restarting the phone and resetting it to factory settings aren’t helping either.
Thankfully, a Motorola Agent commented on the matter and said they have forwarded the issue where the Edge 30 screen wakes up automatically when in pocket for further investigation.
Low brightness during handsfree call
And as if this wasn’t troubling enough, Motorola Edge 30 are reportedly facing another issue where the screen brightness gets low during handsfree call. This is making it really hard for many to use the phone when on calls.
Once again, a Motorola agent commented on the matter and said they have passed the bug to the concerned team for further investigation. But there is no ETA on when the problem will be fixed.
As always, we will be keeping tabs on both issues and let you know when we come across more information on the matter so make sure you check this space for further updates.
