Finally the wait is going to be over soon! The much anticipated trailer of the upcoming sports drama movie 83 is going to be released tomorrow i.e. Tuesday. Today, Ranveer Singh shared a new poster of the movie.
The movie will showcase the Indian cricket team’s 1983 world cup journey to the big screen with Ranveer Singh playing the role of legendary captain Kapil Dev who lifted the first World Cup trophy for India. Deepika Padukone will also feature in the movie as the wife of Kapil Dev, Romi Dev. The most awaited movie is directed by Kabir Khan.
Today, the Bajrao Mastani actor Ranveer Singh quoted Kapil Dev’s statement about what his mother told him. “Bachpan se meri mumma mujhe sirf ek hee cheez kehti aayi hai – Beta jeet ke aana, koi best of shest of luck nahi. Bas jeet ke aana.”-Kapil Dev, 1983.”
Following him, Deepika Padukone and Kabir Khan also shared the same poster which features Ranveer Singh as Kapil Dev and other cast members including Saqib Saleem, Harrdy Sandhu, Ammy Virk, Jiiva and others playing the role of different players in the World Cup winning team of 1983. The historical moment of team running on the ground with happiness and fans cheering for them after their great victory will also be seen.
It is the first movie of the couple Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone together after their marriage. The story behind India’s greatest victory, film 83 with the most spectacular story and screenplay will be released on 24 December, 2021 on the big screen.
