New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….

Original story (published on June 21, 2021) follows:

Sea of Thieves is a popular multiplayer game which has been around on Windows and Xbox One since 2018. Also, the video game was ported to Xbox Series X/S in November 2020.

While many people play Sea of Thieves across the said platforms, it seems some issues have been spoiling their experience.

As per multiple reports, Sea of Thieves players are not getting gold and reputation in exchanged for chests.

Moreover, there are issues where players are unable to see any NPCs in Sanctuary Outpost and facing problems during matchmaking.

It seems these issues are widespread and users are unable to play Sea of Thieves properly because of them.

However, affected users may not have to face these problems for long as they have been acknowledged officially while some of them have been fixed altogether.

The official Sea of Thieves Info & Support Twitter handle has said they are aware of the said problems. In a later tweet, it was said that the matchmaking and no gold and reputation issues have been resolved.

This further means that those who were experiencing the aforementioned issues can now play the multiplayer game without any hassle.

However, there is still no word on the missing Sanctuary Outpost NPCs issue so it is unclear whether that has also been addressed or not.

While it is possible that the missing NPCs issue might have also been addressed along with the other two, it is still based on speculation as no comments have been made regarding the same apart from the acknowledgment.

So, if you are now able to see NPCs in Sanctuary Outpost, let us know by dropping a comment below.

It is still good to see that the game developer was quick to acknowledge and address most of the said issues.

That said, we will report back with more details as and when we get new information to share so stay tuned.
