MultiVersus is a free-to-play crossover fighting game that lets you team up with or against your friends.
It brings together a diverse mix of Warner Bros. characters like Shaggy, Wonder Woman, Batman and so on.
Arya is also one of the widely popular ‘assassin’ characters in MultiVersus which makes her suitable for close-quarters combat. Additionally, MultiVersus’ season 1 patch makes Arya even more effective.
However, reports of inconsistency with Arya ‘Up Special’ have been emerging lately (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10).
Multiple reports from affected players suggest that after the opponent is hit, Arya doesn’t dash to the opponent’s location. Instead, she moves to a different place making it impossible for her to hit the opponent.
Fortunately, the team is aware of the inconsistency issue with Arya Up Special and is currently testing fixes through a server-side update as confirmed by the game lead.
So far, we haven’t come across any workaround that can help fix the issue temporarily. So, MultiVersus fans have to wait till a definite fix is out.
The team will roll out the fixes once they have been tested thoroughly. That said, we’ll keep tabs on the issue regarding Arya Up Special inconsistency issue and update the article when something noteworthy comes up.

12:47 pm (IST): A game director of MultiVersus has informed players that the server side patch has been released that fixes the Arya Up Special inconsistency issue.
