New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….

Original story (published on September 9, 2022) follows:

NBA 2K23 is the latest addition to the immensely popular NBA 2K series. Before release, the game was available for pre-order and promised some special rewards for the ones who placed it.

However, many NBA 2K23 players (1,2,3,4,5) have been reporting an issue where they are unable to receive VC or pre-order bonuses even after making the purchase through the in-game store.

Some made the purchase over 2 hours ago and still haven’t received the currency in their game accounts.

It’s worth noting that the issue also affects those who pre-ordered various special versions of the game like the Championship or Michael Jordan edition.

Frustrated players have taken to social media platforms to express their concerns about their purchases.

Fortunately, NBA 2K23 support was quick to respond to these reports and said that it can take a few hours for the VC to reach the end account due to heavy web traffic.

They also asked some players to provide more information about the issue by submitting a ticket.

An older tweet from 2K support indicates that it can take up to 24 hours for the VC to reach the player’s account in some cases.

We hope NBA 2K23 developers are able to resolve the issue with players being unable to receive VC or pre-order bonuses as soon as possible.

We’ll keep an eye on this problem and update this story to reflect noteworthy developments.
