Elon Musk, the billionaire entrepreneur, reacted to Netflix’s significant reduction in subscriptions in the first quarter. He tweeted, “The woke mind virus is making Netflix unwatchable.”
Musk’s message drew a deluge of positive responses from Twitter users. “Woke mind virus is the biggest menace to society,” tweeted Pranay Pathole, Musk’s Pune-based social media acquaintance.

Netflix’s shares fell 25% in extended trading after the company reported its first membership decline in more than a decade, raising concerns that the pioneering streaming service may have seen its finest days.
