One of the smartphone brand that has shown massive growth in a short span – be it in terms of the market share or expanding user base – is definitely Realme. From growing as a brand to providing budget-friendly specs-to-price ratio devices to delivering updates (monthly/OS) on time, Realme has done it all.

It’s one of the OEMs the has most swiftly delivered the Android 10-based Realme UI 1.0 to the majority of the eligible devices, that too well in the scheduled timeframe. And they’re already beta testing the upcoming Android 11-based Realme UI 2.0.

The Realme 5 lineup – Realme 5, 5i and 5s – are the devices that most recently got upgraded to the Realme UI. Being a phased push, the update of course hasn’t landed on all Realme 5/5s/5i devices as yet. But shouldn’t take long, and make it to all devices during this month.

And as per the roadmap, the spotlight is now on Realme 2 pro units that are scheduled to be upgraded this month (June). Unlike others, the beta program for the 2 Pro kick-started quite early. While they await the stable release, the OEM has pushed a new Realme UI update to the Realme 5 lineup.

Landing as build RMX1911EX_11_C.47 (Realme 5-left image), RMX1925EX_11_C.47 (Realme 5s), and RMX2030EX_11_C.47 (Realme 5i-right image), the patch brings in a whole lot of bugfixes. Super nightscape noises, blurred dark areas in wide-angle nightscape video, and rear camera HDR mode glitch to name a few.

Here’s what the long changelog reads:

Like usual, the updates are being pushed over-the-air, so may not hit all devices together. You can of course check for the update by heading over to Settings» System Updates. The download links aren’t available yet, but we’ll share as and when we get hands-on them.

Happy installation!
