New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….
Original story (published on August 02, 2022) follows:
Azoth is a bright blue material that can be acquired in several ways. It is extensively used by players in-game to fast travel and also to longer distances.
It also increases the likelihood of players creating items with higher rarity when they use Azoth during forging or crafting.
So in a sense, you can say Azoth is the lifeblood of New World as it’s essential to the core mechanics of the game.
New World ‘Azoth Vials’ still disabled
As it turns out, New World players are now saying (1,2,3,4,5) that Azoth Vials has been disabled.
This is really frustrating for players since Azoth is used extensively in this game. The reason this is done is due to an issue with salvaging that uses an entire stack at once.
That said, many players are demanding that New World developers enable Azoth since it is preventing them from progressing in everyday activities and the summer event.
Issue acknowledged
Fortunately, one of the game’s developers has said that they are already aware of this issue and are working on a fix, but an ETA has not been revealed yet.
In the meantime, they have also asked players to keep an eye on the forum for future updates.
Rest assured, we will be updating this space once New World developers enable Azoth once again, so stay tuned.
Update 2 (August 05)
05:58 pm (IST): A community manager has confirmed that ‘Azoth Vials’ have been re-enabled with a patch that arrived on August 04.
