New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….

Original story (published on February 15, 2022) follows:

From 400K average players in September last year to 65K in January 2022, the game has been steadily declining when it comes to player count.

And as is the case with every recently released video game, players do come across bugs and issues every once in a while.

That being said, New World players are now reporting (1,2,3) that they are unable to progress in the Baetylus Headpiece quest.

With reports dating back to December 2021, it looks like the glitch has been affecting players for quite a while now. Some say they tried resetting the quest, abandoning it, and starting all over again but unfortunately, nothing worked.

With the bug preventing players from progressing, many were wondering if the developers will ever fix the issue.

Thankfully, a Community Moderator has shed some light on the matter and said that they have escalated the issue to the developers for further investigation.

We hope the developers soon find out the root cause of the issue and fix it as soon as possible since it is preventing players from progressing in the game.

As always, we’ll keep an active track of the developments on this one and update the story, as and when we come across new information so stay tuned to PiunikaWeb.
