New World Players Show That Positivity is Appreciated

With negativity spreading so quickly, it’s refreshing to witness how some players keep the enthusiasm for this new MMO alive by playing the game as it was always meant to be played - which means, to enjoy it while doing what makes the experience worthwhile. There are a lot of things to do in New World, and some players got very creative by making up challenges, like the so-called ‘Wilderness Challenge,’ which consists of a few rules to abide by to make a brand-new run different and unique. One of the New World community’s preferred hobbies, however, seems to be to share videos and stories of players finding interesting and funny ways to reach the level cap.

An example comes from a New World player who reached level 60 without ever killing anything in the game, which is doable by skipping the tutorial area once players first jump into New World. This story gained a lot of traction due to how peculiar it is to not kill any creature in a game that puts part of its focus on fighting and leveling up all sorts of different weapons to use in combat, but it goes to show just how great the crafting and gathering experience is. In fact, many other players shared their achievements of getting all their trade skills up to the maximum level, which is 200, as personal goals while playing New World.

Other stories include that of a player who got to level 60 without ever joining one of the three main Factions in New World, and another saw a player getting to maximum level by jumping off a cliff and killing a turkey for the 1 experience point missing. While these are examples, the community’s response has always been welcoming and very positive, which is ultimately good for the game since it counters negativity surrounding New World’s issues.

New World is available now on PC.
