The game features no auto-targeting system and hence, one needs to have good aim to land skill shots. According to MMO Population, New World has more than 15.32 million players.

Having said that, the player count has significantly dropped in the last few months, thank to bugs and issues such as the weapon swap bug where abilities were queing after swapping weapons and the bugged Baetylus Headpiece quest.

And as it turns out, New World players are now saying (1,2,3,4,5) that they are unable to trade or transfer wealth because of an item duplication exploit that recently surfaced.

While a bunch of players say the punishment is justified, others say it is not harsh enough.

It is also interesting to note that this is not the first time New World players have been banned for using an exploit. The developers had perma-banned many for taking advantage of the gold dupe in November last year.

Fortunately, New World developers commented on the item duplication glitch and said that they have disabled all forms of wealth transfers in the meantime.

Rest assured, we will be updating this space once New World developers enable wealth transfers once again, so stay tuned.
