Master P believes that no one should be imprisoned for minor marijuana offences, and he is actively working to have people released from jails across the country.
The music legend appeared on “TMZ Live” on Thursday to discuss his planned benefit performance for “Cannabis Freedom Day” on Friday… and why more states need to modify their drug laws.
Master P claims that in his home state of Louisiana and elsewhere, far too many individuals are imprisoned for possessing as little as $5 to $100 worth of marijuana, and that this is unjust and wreaking havoc on entire communities.
Master P’s No Limit Reunion Tour is appearing in Norfolk, VA… with Mystikal, Silkk, Mia X, Fiend, Mr. Serv-on, Choppa Style, Mercedes, and Juvenile… to promote awareness for “Cannabis Freedom Day.”
However, Master P claims that people who have been released from prison are still having difficulty finding work… and he explains why he wants to see even more Black faces in the legalized marijuana industry.
