Details are surfacing about a new British Netflix Original film titled Locked In, which will be directed by Nour Wazzi and written by Rowan Joffe. The film is being produced by Nicky Bentham’s Neon Films. The Duke (distributed by Sony Pictures Releasing) is the company’s most well-known film, starring Jim Broadbent and Helen Mirren. Who Killed The KLF?, The Silent Storm, and Moon are some of his other ventures.
Their website also indicates that they currently have six projects in the works. Gaumont is also said to be involved in the project. The plot of the film has not yet been released. Rowan Joffe, who has worked in the film and television industries as a producer, writer, and director since 2000, is the film’s writer.
Joffe wrote the critically praised film Last Resort, which was released in 2000. He is most recognized for his work as an executive producer and writer for the British sitcom Tin Star, as well as his work on 2019’s The Informer.
Nour Wazzi has agreed to direct the picture through her Panacea Productions company. Panacea and Wazzi appeared in Netflix’s recently released family live-action series The Last Bus. The series was launched on April 1st, 2022 by Wildseed Studios.
Paul Neafcy created the 10-episode series, which starred Robert Sheehan from The Umbrella Academy. According to our sources, there is currently no word of a second season.
