ColorOS is the Android-based operating system for OPPO smartphones, designed for a smarter and smoother user experience.
Now sharing Wi-Fi is as simple as doing online payments, all you need to do is scan and connect to Wi-Fi. Earlier ColorOs do not offer this facility but now the users can use this feature to enjoy hassle-free connectivity.
This Wi-Fi sharing feature is already there in Apple but using a barcode is not required. You can share Wi-Fi on your Apple devices by following three simple steps as follows.
In order to share Wi-Fi on ColorOS you can do that using the following simple steps.
Make sure that your device (the one sharing the password) is unlocked and connected to the Wi-Fi network.
Select the Wi-Fi network on the device you want to connect.
On your device, tap Share Password, then tap Done.
Make sure you’re connected to the network you wish to share, then open Settings > Connections > Wi-Fi.
Tap the gear, then select the QR code icon at the bottom of the screen. A unique QR code will be generated.
Now for connecting to the network one needs to scan the QR code with their phone. All they need to do is tap the pop-up message on the screen to open their Wi-Fi settings and connect to the network.
