ColorOS is the Android-based operating system for OPPO smartphones, designed for a smarter and smoother user experience.

Now sharing Wi-Fi is as simple as doing online payments, all you need to do is scan and connect to Wi-Fi. Earlier ColorOs do not offer this facility but now the users can use this feature to enjoy hassle-free connectivity.

This Wi-Fi sharing feature is already there in Apple but using a barcode is not required. You can share Wi-Fi on your Apple devices by following three simple steps as follows.

In order to share Wi-Fi on ColorOS you can do that using the following simple steps.

  • Make sure that your device (the one sharing the password) is unlocked and connected to the Wi-Fi network.

  • Select the Wi-Fi network on the device you want to connect.

  • On your device, tap Share Password, then tap Done.

  • Make sure you’re connected to the network you wish to share, then open Settings > Connections > Wi-Fi.

  • Tap the gear, then select the QR code icon at the bottom of the screen. A unique QR code will be generated.

  • Now for connecting to the network one needs to scan the QR code with their phone. All they need to do is tap the pop-up message on the screen to open their Wi-Fi settings and connect to the network.
