To address the PrintNightmare security flaw impacting the Windows Print Spooler service, Microsoft has rolled out-of-band security updates for all supported versions of Windows. This vulnerability allows attackers to print functionality inside local networks when print capabilities are exposed to the Internet. As explained by the company, the remote code execution vulnerability exists when the Windows Print Spooler service improperly performs privileged file operations. An attacker who successfully exploited this vulnerability could run arbitrary code with SYSTEM privileges....
