A new update for Mortal Shell has arrived for Xbox Series S, and it improves the game’s performance. The Souls-like from Cold Symmetry is continuing to evolve, and this most recent example sees this version of the game get an FPS boost. Mortal Shell reviewed well when it launched last year. As a game inspired by the likes of Dark Souls and Demon’s Souls, it still manages to innovate. The game launched on the PC, PS4, and Xbox One, but since then it has released on more platforms....

Although Google has delayed the launch of the Android 11 Beta 1 update, the OEM is well-prepped up for the future, and we can see the update being pushed for the Pixel devices anytime, the company feels like its about time. While it is happening, on one hand, there are several devices like Motorola One Macro that are still waiting to be upgraded to Android 10. And Motorola also has a habit of not letting its users know about the software update roadmap, which only makes things more blurry....

BitCraft, a new procedurally generated sandbox MMORPG, has been officially announced. The game is currently being developed by Clockwork Labs, a new fully remote independent game development studio. Clockwork Labs also announced that BitCraft’s pre-alpha would be starting soon. Clockwork Labs is based in San Francisco, California and BitCraft will be their first foray into the genre. BitCraft is categorized as a massively-multiplayer community sandbox game. At the moment there is no definitive timeline for the release of the game....

It has arguably been a trying time for PC gamers and hardware enthusiasts. Despite AMD’s CEO remaining optimistic that stocks of GPUs and other tech would become readily available soon, the certainty of when things like graphics cards will be in regular supply again remains up in the air. Like many MMOs, New World can be overwhelming when players first start to try and get to grips with its massive world. Each game will have its own systems, mechanics, and lore for gamers to familiarize themselves with, and it can be tricky to fully understand them all enough to begin games with as good a start as possible. Titles like New World need to be complex and evolve over time in order to keep players interested and invested in the world of the game, but this can potentially alienate new players when it feels like there isn’t a clear way into the game....

NieR Automata: The End of YoRHA Edition will run at 30 FPS, Square Enix, and Platinum Games confirmed following the announcement of the Nintendo Switch version of the game. On the NieR series official Twitter profile, it has also been confirmed that the game will run at 1080p resolution in Docked Mode and at 720p resolution in Handheld Mode. Unfortunately, it isn’t specified if dynamic resolution will be used. And, while expected, it is definitely disappointing that NieR Automata will run at only 30 FPS on Nintendo Switch, as the game’s intense action gameplay benefits greatly from high framerates....
